What the charity exists to do
Mission of Innocents helps children and families displaced by war, climate disasters and political crises feel safe again, begin to heal and rediscover hope through creativity-led programmes that restore confidence, connection and childhood. Purpose and Impact ? Mission of Innocents helps children and families displaced by war, climate disasters and political crises heal, rebuild resilience, stay connected to their cultural heritage and rediscover childhood. Its programmes address the emotional, social and developmental impact of displacement at a time when children are most vulnerable. ? Since 2022, almost 800 children have taken part in Mission of Innocents programmes, with clear improvements in emotional wellbeing, confidence, social connection and creative expression. Creativity ? Mission of Innocents uses structured programmes centred on art, music, sport, dance, movement and storytelling to help children and families process trauma, express emotions.
