02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We exist to preach the gospel to the people of Spingburn, and to ‘go and make disciples’ (Mathew 28: 19). We want the people of Springburn (and beyond) to hear and respond to the true message of Christ. As part of this we want to engage with our community and help bring hope through social, emotional and spiritual means. We do this in many ways including. worshipping together on a Sunday morning, engaging in youth/children’s work in the community, helping community members as they battle addictions/hardship and running activities that provide space for community members to feel welcome and part of the wider community. We have engaged with many people from the local area over the last year and have many encouraging stories of people coming to faith in Christ through the gospel message as we point them to Him and get alongside them as a community.

Purposes 4 The Purposes are the advancement of religion, specifically the Christian faith, primarily in Springburn and neighbouring parts of Glasgow, and also throughout Scotland and the rest of the world, by all means consistent with: 4.1 The Christian Bible. 4.2 The Declaration of Principle. and 4.3 The Statement of Foundation Values.
