02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
KCGC was set up to increase the participation of golf within our community. To achieve this we are continuing to improve the facilities we currently manage for both members and visitors. An enthusiastic Volunteer group is helping on the course and in the office and new caterers this season are ensuring social events are continuing in the club house. 'Get Into Golf' sessions have been well attended and together with wider visibility on Social Media we endeavor to increase our presence in the Community. Buggy deals and a variety of membership categories help to retain members in all our section, Ladies,Gents,Juniors and Eggs. Fresh income streams are being actively sought and together with vigourous attempts to seek better deals on all requisites we hope to keep our finances sound. A more targeted approach to Grant Funding will hopefully be fruitful.
