02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We exist to eduate the public on ferret ownership and the issues around them as pet and working animals. TO do this we attend local events to educate the public -we allow handling as we believe the public learn by doing not by being talked at. We also visit local groups- scouts, beavers, boys brigade etc to spend time with them on a small group basis for badges etc.

Constitutional objectives
a) to educate the public in matters pertaining to the prevention of cruelty and suffering amongst ferrets and domesticated polecats b) for the benefit of the public to relieve the suffering of ferrets and domesticated polecats in need of care and attention and in particular to provide and maintain rescue homes and facilities for the reception, care and treatment of such animals
