02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The organisation’s purposes are: (a) The advancement of citizenship and community development by owning, managing and maintaining Kilry Village Hall and surrounding land for the benefit of the public, in particular the inhabitants of Kilry and the surrounding area. (b) Promoting activities in a common effort to advance education and provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation We do this by offering the hall for private rentals and put on events ourselves to fund the ongoing upkeep of the hall for the benefit of the community.
