02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The organisation’s purposes are: The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. In furtherance of this object the organisation will provide the opportunity for individuals residing in Drumchapel and surrounding areas (our community) to participate in social, leisure, recreational sporting and artistic activities with the intention of alleviating social isolation and improving health and wellbeing. We will also provide facilities, so third parties can also deliver the aforementioned activities, in our easily accessible well-known facility with the intention of improving the conditions of life of our community members.
