02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
As a charity, we are setup to raise the funds to open a well catered and developed child care centre within our local community. Currently there is no childcare facility but is much needed not only for parents or carers but this would also cater for new jobs also. At present, we hold regular meetings with our committee and hold fundraising events to raise the funds for finding and developing a child care centre. We are currently moving towards funding applications and sourcing a building.

Constitutional objectives
4.1 To Promote the care, well-being and education of children 4.2 To promote the provision of facilities for the recreation and other leisure time occupation of children in the interest of social welfare with the object of improving their conditions of life. 4.3 To advance the education and training of such persons providing such care and education recreational facilities. 4.4 To provide high quality childcare facilities and social interactions for children from the catchment of Coldstream and surrounding areas.
