Constitutional objectives
The Organisation has been formed for the public benefit of the Community of Haddington as defined by the postcode EH41 (“the Community”), with the Purposes listed in Clause 5 below (“the Purposes”), to be exercised following the principles of sustainable development (where sustainable development means development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs). Environmental Protection and Biodiversity: To advance environmental protection and improvement by creating, maintaining, and promoting community woodlands in the Haddington area, enhancing biodiversity, and fostering sustainable practices through volunteer involvement and partnerships with local organisations. To promote environmental conservation, sustainable land use, and biodiversity within the community
