Constitutional objectives
1.4.1 CCA Scotland shall be a SCIO chartered with the following objectives: 1.4.2 Advancement of Education a) To advance the education of the public in Scotland through the study and understanding of meditational practices, cultural heritage, and languages, including Sanskrit and related literary and artistic forms, with courses, seminars, and resources that foster mental, emotional, and cultural growth. 1.4.3 Advancement of Health a) To promote the advancement of health and mental well-being by providing education and resources on practices beneficial to mental health, including meditation and music. b) To explore and promote awareness of Ayurveda and traditional medicine, providing educational programs for well-being, subject to independently recognised principles and practices. 1.4.4 Advancement of the Arts, Heritage, Culture or Science a) To promote arts, cultural heritage and science through music, performing arts, events, seminars and educational programs that will directly benefit the public through direct interaction. 1.4.5 Environmental Protection and Improvement a) To promote environmental sustainability and awareness through community outreach, educational events, and activities that support conservation and eco-friendly practices. 1.4.6 Promotion of Religious or Racial harmony, Equality and Diversity a) To advance the understanding and appreciation of diverse cultures by preserving and promoting global social, cultural, and spiritual heritage through events and educational programs that highlight inclusivity, equality, and diversity.
