Constitutional objectives

The association's purposes are: The advancement of education To advance education by promoting knowledge and understanding of Paisley’s history, culture, and heritage. This includes delivering educational programmes, workshops, and resources that focus on local history, cultural practices, and the preservation of historic sites. The aim is to increase public awareness, especially among young people, about the significance of Paisley’s historical development and its contribution to Scotland's cultural landscape. The advancement of the arts, heritage, culture, or science To promote and support the advancement of Paisley’s heritage, culture, and the arts by organising and facilitating activities that preserve and celebrate the town's rich cultural legacy. This includes supporting heritage conservation projects, hosting cultural events, and providing platforms for artistic expression that reflect Paisley's diverse cultural narratives. The association will also engage the community in activities that foster pride in local traditions and raise awareness of the importance of heritage preservation as an integral part of the community’s future development.
