Constitutional objectives
The organisation’s purposes are: Advancement of environmental protection, improvement, conservation of Gilmerton Cove, and other heritable sites in the immediate locale. Advancement of Education, making Gilmerton cove available to local schools, and colleges throughout Edinburgh. We aim to create tours, which engage young people and adults in education. Advancement of the arts, heritage, culture and science, through learning about the history, culture and heritage. The provision of recreational facilities, to encourage local people and organisations to engage in recreational learning activities, but also on a national and international level.
