What the charity exists to do
Kilwinning community shed is primarily a place in which the goal is to improve the social needs, health and well-being of all the members. It has provided a place where members can meet up to work on practical projects, share skills and build friendships that support the community spirit.

Constitutional objectives
The Organisation has been formed to benefit the community of Shedders in Kilwinning and generally North Ayrshire (the 'Community'), with the following purposes (the 'Purposes'): Creating, developing and maintaining a facility, namely a Community Shed that will benefit 'the community'. Offering members opportunities to meet and undertake creative, physical, purposeful and recreational activities of their choice. Reducing the isolation of members, contributing to their physical and mental wellbeing, and fostering community spirit. Developing the capacity of the members to share their skills and knowledge with others.
