02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The organisation’s purposes are to advocate enhance and promote cycling, wheeled sports and all forms of active travel in and around the area of the Annick Ward of East Ayrshire Council. Specific current projects are: 1. Provision of a Pump Track in Stewarton. This will be followed by setting up a BMX club and supplying training and equipment to encourage people to use the pump track. 2. Implementation of a Quiet Roads Network around Annick, linking with other local cycle roads. We will encourage use of the Quiet Roads Network via social media, and holding led cycles.

Constitutional objectives
The purposes of the organisation are: a. The advancement of public participation in cycling, wheeled sports and all forms of active travel in and around the area of the Annick Ward of East Ayrshire Council, and the adjacent council boundaries. b. The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities are intended. by whatever means the Trustees think fit, including the provision of facilities, services, training, educational activities, lobbying and campaigning in matters relating to cycling, wheeled sports, and all forms of active travel.
