02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

ADHD Adventures exists to support children and families affected by ADHD across Aberdeenshire. We provide inclusive group sessions, practical resources, and emotional support that reduce isolation and build community. Our trustees and volunteers share lived experience, ensuring services are compassionate and relevant. We deliver monthly support groups, develop ADHD awareness training for professionals, and create opportunities for children to connect with peers. We also advocate for families, promote understanding of ADHD, and use sustainable tools like our electric van to reach rural areas. Our work empowers families, strengthens resilience, and celebrates neurodiversity.
