4 The organisation purposes are: (a) The restoration and preservation of historic buildings, iconic landmarks, and sites of significant architectural or cultural importance, reflecting a rich and diverse heritage. (b) The collection, cataloguing, and display of artefacts and records in museums and archives, preserving and showcasing a unique cultural and historical legacy. (c) The provision of a community facility to mount displays, share information and advise on matters important to Ayr’s past, present and future. (d) The advancement of education with the object of demonstrating the importance of protecting and promoting Ayr’s art, heritage and culture. (e) Any other purpose that may reasonably be regarded as analogous to any of the preceding purposes.
