02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Our primary aims are to provide easy access to the hall via a clearly defined on-line presence, and or by other visible methods of contact. This is to provide ease of booking and hiring the facility to allow the facilities to be used as they are intended while continuing to raise a reliable income stream which will ensure the continued provision of the facilities on offer. We take very seriously both the physical maintenance and cleanliness of the hall and offer a range of facilities for the use of the local community for events, clubs, and community and sports groups. We ensure that we operate legally by complying with all health and safety legislation, fire regulations, local authority regulations and all requirements as laid down by our insurers. Letham Village Hall actively engages with a trusted team of trades people so that any repairs or maintenance required can be undertaken quickly and safely, while causing minimum disruption to the activities of all hall users.
