Constitutional objectives

A. The Advancement of Environmental Protection or Improvement. Comrie Snowdrops aim to plant thousands of snowdrops throughout the village of Comrie and the surrounding area, on publicly accessible / owned land, with the purpose of contributing to the preservation and enhancement of the local environment. The snowdrops will improve the appearance of the village during winter months, create more green space, and encourage ecological sustainability, and raise awareness about the importance of native plants and conservation efforts. B. The Advancement of Citizenship or Community Development. Comrie Snowdrops aim to encourage a sense of community ownership and engagement. Through the involvement of residents, visitors, businesses, and local organisations in planting snowdrops throughout the year, the project will contribute to the development of strong community bonds and a sense of shared responsibility for the village. The charity will seek to promote a sense of civic pride and long-term engagement with the village. C. The Advancement of the Arts, Heritage, Culture or Science. Comrie Snowdrops aim to create an annual snowdrop festival, to coincide with the Scottish Snowdrop Festival, with activities such as art competitions, painting workshops, and storytelling. The festival will promote local culture and creativity by engaging the community and visitors through the advancement of arts and crafts. By coinciding with the Scottish Snowdrop Festival, the Comrie Snowdrop Festival will draw a much larger audience to share the experience.
