Constitutional objectives
The organisation’s purposes are: 4.1 The promotion of race equality and diversity through celebrating cultural heritage and community cohesion as well as combating hate crime and exclusion: via culture, art and community development programs including the advancement of participative democracy and inclusion, information sharing via relevant publications and newsletter as well as capacity development support via facilitating a voice for the diverse Irish communities in influencing relevant policies and community development programs as a means of tackling exclusion and promoting race equality and active citizenship 4.2 The advancement of the Irish cultural heritage through initiating and delivering public exhibitions, cultural heritage clubs, art and culture programs, giving presentations and/or performances for the public to raise awareness of the history and traditions of the diverse Irish communities and their cultural heritage.
