02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Boxers Booth SCIO was established to improve physical and mental wellbeing, promote social inclusion and create opportunities through boxing, fitness, mentoring and community activities, particularly for disadvantaged children and young people. Unfortunately, the charity has not yet commenced operations following the sad passing of one of our trustees, which resulted in an unexpected delay to our plans. We are now actively working towards launching our activities, with a new trustee joining the organisation and our charity bank account currently being opened. Our focus is on developing accessible boxing and community programmes, securing funding and exploring opportunities through Erasmus+ for youth development and international exchanges. We remain committed to establishing Boxers Booth as a sustainable charity that makes a positive difference within our community.

4 The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 the advancement of public participation in sport. and 4.2 the provision or organisation of recreational facilities, through the provision of recreational facilities and the organisation of boxing classes, including specialised classes for individuals with disabilities, with the aim of helping individuals to learn discipline and develop confidence through the sport.
