We are set up to purchase, maintain and restore the Auld Kirk, St Monans as a place of huge historical significance

Constitutional objectives
1 St Monans Auld Kirk Enterprise, hereafter referred to as SMAKE, is a non-profit distributing company. It shall deliver services in the East Neuk of Fife and shall draw the membership from the geographical community. The operating area shall be the village of St Monans, Fife and the postcodes KY10 2DB, KY10 2DD, KY10 2DE, KY10 2DF and KY10 2DQ as defined in Appendix 1 (attached). 2 SMAKE aims to promote, protect, maintain, improve and educate the public in the history, culture, heritage and the arts in relation to the Auld Kirk, its conservation and preservation and its importance to the town and its environs historically, culturally and economically now and in the future. In furtherance of this, the company’s objects are: - • The advancement of citizenship and community development • The advancement of the arts, heritage and culture • The provision of recreational facilities and the organisation of recreational activities available to the public • The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship, rural isolation or other disadvantage These aim to improve conditions of life for the persons for whom they are primarily intended.
