02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
What We Do We focus on supporting primary school kids (P1 to P7) by giving them spaces where they can learn, make friends, and just be kids. Everything we offer centres around three main goals: Play: Giving children plenty of time and space for indoor and active outdoor play, helping them stay active, build confidence, and stretch their imaginations. Learn: Offering hands-on, practical activities—from simple gardening and growing projects to creative STEM tasks—that build skills without feeling like extra schoolwork. Socialise: Helping kids build genuine friendships, learn respect for one another, and develop social confidence in a warm, friendly setting. How We Put It Into Practice We run our care and community activities directly out of The Centre on Standalane: Reliable Wraparound Care: We offer Breakfast Club to get kids off to a good start with a healthy breakfast before safely dropping them at school, After-School Care with snacks and supervised activities, and full Hol
