Grounded in the concept of personal well-being and based on the established five ways of enhancing this - Give, Keep Learning, Take Notice, Be Active, Connect – we will: • promote well-being through both structured and informal activities in the countryside, for clients as active participants, volunteers or observers. • bring together and support groups of people seeking to connect more closely with nature in ways that strengthen their sense of well-being and inclusion. • design and deliver opportunities for social interaction, self-expression and learning for vulnerable and/or disconnected individuals and groups, working in partnership with related support organisations. • create new opportunities for sharing with others through creative activity using natural materials. The advancement of environmental protection or improvement This will be achieved by providing new opportunities for clients to: • be active in habitat creation, restoration and maintenance whilst acquiring new skills to support these. • better understand sustainability and bio-diversity in nature through reflection, structured observation and outdoor learning activities.
