02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

St Roch’s Charitable Trust was established to support and develop community-based activity linked to St Roch’s Football Club, focusing on improving wellbeing, reducing inequality and increasing access to inclusive sport and community opportunities in the Royston area of Glasgow. During the year, the charity has supported delivery of programmes including youth football, holiday activities, community events and support for local residents, working in partnership with established organisations. This has enabled us to reach approximately 250 individuals across our activities. The Trust provides governance, structure and sustainability to this work, with the intention of expanding into direct delivery of programmes as the charity develops, ensuring long-term, community-led impact.
