Constitutional objectives

The Fife Hindu Temple and Cultural Centre (FHTCC) is established for the advancement of religion, health, culture, and arts and specifically: ➢ To promote Hinduism through regular meetings at The Temple ➢ To promote a better understanding of the Hindu culture by celebrating popular festivals and by inviting all other communities to participate in all such festivals. ➢ To preserve, maintain and perpetuate the cultural heritage of the people of Hindu community in Fife. To assist and propagate cultural, educational, social, economic and community affairs of Hindus in Fife. ➢ To provide facilities for cultural and recreational activities for the Hindu community of Fife and to encourage members of all other communities to participate in such activities. ➢ To raise, solicit, collect, and disburse funds, charities, and donations for cultural, educational, and charitable purposes like supporting natural disasters either directly or in cooperation with other not- for-profit organisations in the UK and abroad. ➢ To provide and maintain a library on Hindu religion, culture, and arts • To organise seminars, workshops, and talks in collaboration with Fife NHS and specialist healthcare professionals. • To arrange blood donation camps in collaboration with Fife NHS and bring awareness about organ donation.
