What the charity exists to do
The charity is set up to further the religious and charitable purposes of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in Britain, in Scotland and beyond. The charity provides governance and support and a wider Quaker community for its constituent local meetings, which in turn provide a spiritual community for their members and attenders and offering Quaker worship open to the public. Regular meetings for worship for business and occasional residential events enable members and attenders to gather, build community and discern the will of God in their work and witness.
