Constitutional objectives

The organization’s primary purposes are to foster a sense of belonging among the Muslim community in Inverclyde (Port Glasgow, Greenock, and Gourock) and support their integration into Scottish Society. In pursuit of these objectives, the organization shall: a) Advanced Education Provide educational resources and learning opportunities Conduct workshops, lectures, and seminars on various subjects b) Advance Religion Promote understanding and practice of Islamic teachings Organise religious activities, including prayers, study circles, and celebrations c) Advanced arts, Heritage, Culture, and Science Encourage artistic and cultural activities within the community d) Preserve and Promote Islamic Heritage and Cultural Practices Safeguard and celebrate Islamic traditions and cultural values Organise cultural events, exhibitions and heritage programs e) Provide Recreational Facilities and Activities Organise recreational, social and spiritual activities to enhance community well-being Foster an inclusive environment where members can engage in meaningful social interactions f) Support Community Development Help members develop essential life skills and connect with relevant support bodies Strengthen the role of women by encouraging active participation in creative and social activities Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to explore and develop their talents Encourage young people to participate in sports, cultural and social activities to reach their full potential
