Constitutional objectives
5.1 The objects of the SCIO are to promote, advance and further charitable purposes by supporting financially and otherwise (i) the preservation and restoration of sites, buildings, lands, artefacts and archive materials of historical interest that are predominately, but not exclusively, related to Playfair family history and (ii) advance public education and appreciation on the history, culture and heritage of the Playfair family. 5.2 In particular for the purposes of the 2005 Act the charitable purposes identified as applicable from section 7 of the 2005 Act are:- 5.2.1 the advancement of the arts, heritage or culture. and 5.2.2 the advancement of education.
