2.1.1 The object of The Church is to advance the Christian Faith, and in the furtherance thereof but not otherwise: (a) To bring believers into a deeper understanding of whom they are in Christ Jesus and to fulfil their calling in Him. (b) To join with likeminded believers in unity, but not uniformity, to the glory of God. (c) To enable believers to bear witness in the community and to serve that community more effectively, to the furtherance of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
