02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Friends of New Craigs Hospital is set up to support patients at New Craigs Hospital by raising funds for items, activities, equipment and resources that can improve their stay, support wellbeing and aid recovery.. We raise funds through donations, fundraising activities and events, and by networking with the wider community and businesses. We work with the hospital management team and wards to identify items and activities that would benefit patients and use charitable funds to provide these where appropriate. We also raise awareness of the charity and its work. We meet regular as a committee to manage the charity and decide how funds can be best used to support patients.
