Constitutional objectives

The purposes of the Charity, which are exclusively charitable and aligned with the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005, are as follows: The Advancement of Education To promote the teaching of the Persian language and Persian poetry to all citizens, focusing on individuals of Persian heritage for the public benefit. The Advancement of Health To improve mental and psychological health, particularly within the community, by offering workshops for parents, youth, and teenagers aimed at addressing critical life transitions and reducing the stigma surrounding mental health. Looking after women and supporting women who are navigating the challenges of transitioning between two cultures involves understanding, empathy, and practical assistance. The Advancement of the Arts, Heritage, Culture, or Science To preserve and promote various cultural traditions by engaging in poetry, practising calligraphy, and organising cultural events such as Burns Night, St. Andrew’s Day, Yalda, Nowruz, and Chaharshanbe Suri. 8. The Promotion of Equality and Diversity To advocate for and encourage equality and diversity, ensuring inclusivity across different religious, ethnic, and cultural groups. The Advancement of Environmental Protection or Improvement To encourage environmental stewardship and promote activities that protect and enhance the environment to benefit the public and future generations.
