02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The Partick Thistle Disabled Supporters Association is set up to represent and advocate on behalf of any Partick Thistle Supporter who identifies as having a disability of any kind. Further to this the Association will in its advocacy the carers, families and friends of the disabled supporter where possible. To seek to act as representatives of those disabled supporters in discussions with the club, any outside bodies wether statutory or voluntary and engage with any similar minded organisation nationally or locally. To actively seek to promote innovative methods of allowing all disabled supporters an active voice to existing and particularly developing social media platforms and aim to be a leader in the field of social media and fan engagement. To play a full and active part in the Firhill For All initiative and strategy. At all times to bear in mind its obligations and responsibilities to treat its members and those it encourages with the required duty of care & attention

Constitutional objectives
The association's purposes are: (a) The relief of those in need. (b) The promotion of equality and diversity. In furtherance of these purposes, the association will aim: (a) To represent and advocate on behalf of any Partick Thistle supporter who identifies as having a disability of any kind. Further to this part the Association will include in its advocacy the carers, family, and friends of the disabled supporter where appropriate. (b) To seek to act as representatives of those disabled supporters in discussions with the Club, any outside bodies whether statutory or voluntary and engage with any similarly minded organisations nationally or locally. (c) To actively seek to promote innovative methods of allowing all disabled supporters an active voice with regard to existing and particularly developing social media platforms and aim to be a leader in the field of social media and fan engagement.
