Constitutional objectives

Purposes 4 The organisation’s purposes are: The advancement of environmental protection and improvement, the advancement of citizenship and community development, and the provision of recreational activities or the organisation of recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended, and in furtherance of these by: - 4.1 Advocating for the preservation from industrial development of the entire area of St Fittick's Park in Torry, Aberdeen and for the maintenance of its amenity and biodiversity 4.2 Increasing community use and enjoyment of the park's amenity and its contribution to physical and mental health 4.3 Increasing public understanding and enjoyment of the biodiversity of the park 4.4 Strengthening social connections within and between diverse groups in Torry through activities and events in the park and the wider community 4.5 In support of the purposes above, encouraging community partnerships with educational providers and organisations in the City and Shire
