What the charity exists to do
Porty Community Energy Ltd is a charitable company in Portobello, Edinburgh, created and coordinated by a local team who are passionate about creative community action and a just climate transition. Our Charitable aims are: 1. To promote environmental protection or improvement by encouraging individuals and groups to take climate action to reduce their impact on the environment, and to create community-based renewable energy resources 2. To promote inclusive, participatory, and climate resilient communities by involving members of the community in activities that encourage climate action and community development
