4 The organisation’s purposes are: The saving of lives, and education within the agreed geographical area of Howe of Fife and surrounding areas by: (a) responding to life threatening emergency calls including but not exclusively, cardiac arrest, medical collapse and other situations as determined by the Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) to those in need. Operating in accordance with the SAS First Responder Handbook & Governance Framework. (b) improving awareness of basic life support and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (c) raising funds, receiving grants, and accepting donations for the benefit of the organisation.
