Constitutional objectives
Having rescued parrots for many years and had some previous experience of rescuing and rehoming, we wanted to share some experience and offer support to people about parrots within Dumfries and Galloway. We want to further support parrots to stay within their homes and if not possible or any changes in circumstances, find them a loving caring forever home for the future. We are very for fortunate to have people that can support us as a charity as well as be safe house foster parents until a suitable long term home is found for the birds. The aims of this group is to: Raise awareness parrots and the different breeds Raise awareness of what it takes to look after a parrot, having them insured for vet covers, the correct foods and nutrition what they need in order to be looked after what mental and physical stimulations they need how to provide a healthy safe environment *what foods they can have and not what house hold items are dangerous to parrots and why. training parrots require positive reinforcements
