Constitutional objectives
5.1 The objects of the SCIO are to (i) preserve, maintain and manage as a community asset Glenprosen Church at Glen Prosen Church, Kirriemuir DD8 4RS, (ii) make Glenprosen Church available for any ecclesiastical purposes required such as funeral, weddings, christening or other appropriate purposes , (iii) provide recreational, heritage and cultural pursuits to improve the welfare of the community of Glenprosen and (iv) to promote the advancement and wellbeing of the community without distinction of gender, sexuality, political, religious or other opinions. 5.2 For the purposes of the 2005 Act the following charitable purposes are the charitable purposes identified as applicable from section 7 of the 2005 Act are:- 5.2.1 the advancement of arts, heritage, culture or science. 5.2.2 the advancement of citizenship or community development. and 5.2.3 the advancement of religion.
