Constitutional objectives

The purposes of the Association are the prevention or relief of poverty, the advancement of education, the advancement of citizenship or community development and the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. In furtherance of these purposes, the Association will: 1. Foster love, peace, and unity and promote a sense of belonging among 'ndi Anambra' in Glasgow and its environs. 2. Pursue various projects, programs, and activities that will lead to the prevention or relief of poverty for ndi Anambra and other interested parties in need that identifies with the Association in Glasgow. 3. Provide a platform for members to connect and establish cordial and enduring relationships among themselves and the wider Glasgow community at large. 4. Promote and advance the education of the public in Anambra cultural heritage including but not limited to traditional arts and crafts. 5. Protect the common interests and welfare of members and provide a platform for leadership development, capacity building, skills empowerment, mentoring opportunities for its members and the wider community.
