Constitutional objectives
1. The advancement of religion by securing the provision of Bedrule Church as a community non-denominational religious facility, to provide a place of worship, continuity of spiritual well-being, a focus for a modern revival of religion and to support other religious services and activities. (Link to Charitable Purpose (c) in section 7(2) of the 2005 Act). 2. The advancement of heritage and culture by preserving and promoting the historical and cultural heritage of the building and area, including Intangible Cultural Heritage. This will be achieved by (i) obtaining support, including funding and volunteer help, to enable the church to become a repository of historical information and artefacts, (ii) by providing an identity focus for the national and international diaspore of clans, associated with the locality, and (iii) by the preservation and dissemination of local history, archaeology and the memories of elderly members of the community.
