Constitutional objectives
The association's purposes are: (a) the prevention or relief of poverty among low- income individuals and families, by providing financial assistance to meet basic living costs, improve living standards and support individuals in hardship, including single mothers, and elderly residents. (b) the advancement of education by supporting access to educational resources, school supplies, and other related costs for children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. With the aim of improving educational attainment and future opportunities. (c) to support charitable activities through the raising of funds in Scotland for use in furtherance of the above purposes overseas, while ensuring that all donations received are applied exclusively towards achieving the charitable purpose stated in this constitution, in line with the requirements of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005.
