02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Our charity was set up for the purposes identified as being able to purchase the former church at Tough with a view to being able to offer a place where the local community could have the opportunity to re-connect with the church building and to have a place tot meet and socialise. We meet regularly to discuss the plans for development, funding sources, building management, training and plans for activities. Thus far our events have included a 43-opening Coffee Morning, Bingo Night,, taking part in the Doors Open days and are due to have a number events leading up to Christmas. One of our goals is to be able to offer services such as funerals. The events held so far have attracted a number of local residents and those who have strong links to both the church and have family connections.
