Constitutional objectives
Charitable Purposes 3 The SCIO will, in such manner as the Charity Trustees consider appropriate, promote, advance and further the following charitable purposes: 3.1 To advance the public education in the history and heritage of Renfrewshire and to act as a focal point and network through the Sma’ Shot Cottages, for all who are interested in the subject, to encourage the collection, preservation and recording of archives, photographs, and artefacts and promote their accessibility to the general public and to forge and maintain strategic links with the local community. 3.2 To advance the heritage and culture of the local area by providing a heritage experience for the community and visitors, as well as serving as a local heritage visitor attraction through the provision of guided tours of the Sma’ Shot Cottages, and community archive for the recording, restoration and promotion, of the rich history of Renfrewshire.
