02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The Club is established to advance public participation in sport by providing inclusive access to football coaching, training and competition for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds in Coatbridge and surrounding areas. We achieve this through running football teams, including girls’ teams, holiday sports programmes, health and wellbeing activities, and opportunities for participation, volunteering and coach development. We also provide free community activities, social groups and events to tackle isolation, improve mental wellbeing and support individuals and families in need through food assistance and community projects. We work with local schools, organisations and partners to remove barriers to participation and improve opportunities for local people. We are also developing our facilities, including a new clubhouse, community hub and 3G football pitch, to expand access to sport and deliver lasting benefits for the wider community.

Constitutional objectives
The Club is established for the following charitable purpose: a) To advance public participation in sport by providing access to football coaching, training, and competition for individuals of all ages and abilities in Coatbridge and the surrounding areas. The Club will be inclusive of all skill levels and backgrounds and will actively remove barriers to participation, ensuring equal access regardless of age, gender, ability, or background.
