Constitutional objectives

The organisation’s purposes are: 4.1 The Advancement of Education through intergenerational and peer-peer workshops to increase awareness and responses to local climate and biodiversity needs within the Tongue and Durness council areas. 4.2 The Advancement of Health by developing and leading a series of year-round, accessible and open to the public outdoor health and wellbeing sessions to promote individual and collective wellbeing within the Tongue and Durness council areas. 4.3 The Advancement of Community Development by convening community events and workshops to identify priority needs and facilitate the development of community-led solutions and improvements in the Tongue and Durness council areas. 4.4 The Advancement of Arts, Heritage, Culture and Science by offering interactive and creative community events to explore local natural and cultural heritage and develop avenues for community-led interdisciplinary research in the Tongue and Durness council areas. 4.5 The Protection and Enhancement of the Environment by promoting local awareness, appreciation and engagement with nature through community events and activities that seek to explore local values and priorities and facilitate community-led actions to protect and increase biodiversity on land and at sea, improve environmental health and address impacts of climate change in the Tongue and Durness council areas
