Constitutional objectives

The organisation’s purposes are: (a) Champion the development of the arts to further the education of the Arts and Heritage, for the benefit of local communities within West Lothian and beyond. (b) To engage the people of West Lothian in quality creative activities alleviating mental health and positive well-being, and enhance cultural and economic benefits for everyone in the region. (c) We aim to stimulate local talent and social and community cohesion and engage members of the public to reduce isolation and promote good mental health by building friendships and connections within communities and improving education in this field. This will also have positive benefits on mental health and well-being. (d) To work in partnership with local groups sharing experiences and building positive relationships. (e) Utilising and, where necessary, restoring existing historically important buildings and or culturally significant landscapes to preserve the heritage of Scotland and offer the public access to high-quality arts experiences. The local communities will be pivotal in the restoration and the gathering of historical aspects of the project. This will be to the benefit of the enhancement of education of local cultures and history. (f) The advancement of environmental protection or improvement of the local buildings and or landscape environments.
