02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The charity is set up to support improve communities health & wellbeing and prevent poverty particularly people from ethnic minority backgrounds. 1. We have group that meets weekly for a cup of tea/coffee and a blether. It arranges day trips to cities and places of interest. this group has also arranged evening dinners for members and their spouses, 2. We have another group that arranges and goes on hikes every Sunday, during the year we had a barbeque arranged. 3. We access health awareness for members like dementia workshops and make awareness of walking groups and health beneficial services. 4. The charity makes referral to beneficial service like CAB to make sure members are receiving all their entitlements to maximise there income.

Constitutional objectives
1. The advancement of health Offer safe community spaces for people particularly from ethnic minority backgrounds to connect and participate in physical activities that support health and wellbeing. To raise awareness of health-related issue like diabetes, heart disease, mental health. To tackle isolation and to provide information to access beneficial services. 2. The prevention or relief of poverty Offer advice, support, and service referrals to help low-income households achieve financial stability and better living standards.
