Constitutional objectives
The Purposes are the advancement of religion, specifically the Christian faith, for the benefit and blessing of the Community and also for the benefit and blessing of all people with whom the Church comes into contact in any way, primarily in East Kilbride and the wider area of South Lanarkshire, and also throughout Scotland and the rest of the world, to the glory of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, by all means consistent with: 1. The Christian Bible. 2. The Declaration of Principle. and 3. The Statement of Beliefs. including, without prejudice to the foregoing generality, worship, ministry, mission, witness, prayer, fellowship, networking, education, community service and the provision of activities and facilities for the community, and the relief of poverty and other social needs, including the support of individuals and other charitable organisations and agencies involved in any or all of these.
