4 The organisation’s purposes are: (a) To advance citizenship and community development by promoting active participation, community cohesion, and representation of residents’ interests in the Dryburgh area. (b) To advance environmental protection or improvement by supporting initiatives that enhance the local environment, green spaces, and sustainable development. (c) To relieve those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage by advocating for improved housing and community safety for vulnerable residents. (d) To provide recreational facilities, or organise recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended by developing inclusive community spaces and resources, including the conversion of the former school ground.
