The organisation is established for charitable purposes only, and in particular, the following: 5 To advance education and promote physical and mental wellbeing through the delivery of educational programmes and sporting activities, particularly targeting individuals and communities who have experienced poverty, deprivation, and abuse. 6 To provide relief to those in need by reason of disadvantage, poor education, financial hardship, or social exclusion, through the provision of support, resources, and opportunities. 7 To promote the benefit of the public, primarily overseas, through volunteering initiatives, collaborative partnerships with other vetted charitable organisations, and by offering scholarships to access further or higher education. These purposes align with the categories of charitable purposes set out in the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005.
