The organisation’s purposes are: Operate as a viable Brass Band (and in doing so, will): - i. Advance education experiences by: - a. Providing affordable music tuition. b. Providing access to equipment and facilities that supports positive learning c. Providing performance opportunities d. Working with local schools, authorities and national education bodies to widen curricular and extracurricular experiences ii. Promote advancement of the performing arts by:- a. Increasing public exposure to, appreciation of or involvement in the performing arts b. Reaching out to new audiences c. Providing opportunities for participation by people who might otherwise be excluded d. Improving facilities and venues where art is produced, displayed or performed e. Encouraging high standards by raising artistic skills and nurturing talent
