Constitutional objectives
The aims of the group are to relieve the need and promote the welfare of those with a Learning Disability who attend Milldale Day Opportunities, their families and Carers. In futherance thereof, but not otherwise, the group shall seek: a - to promote social, cultural, educational and recreational activities to the benefit of those without distinction of sex, or political, religious, or other opinions. b - to promote empowerment and ability by involving members in the decision making process of the group as a whole. c - to support group members, other parents and Carers by providing a network for the exchange of information and ideas without prejudice.
